Wolfpack girls finish first, boys take second in tri-meet


September 22, 2015—After placing second in their last tri-meet, the South Fort Myers girls swim team reigned victorious in Monday’s competition. The Wolfpack won with a score of 101, East Lee placed second with 90, and Dunbar took third with 51 points.

Among South Fort Myers’ best competitors were sophomores Ezri Damschroder and Caitlynn Caltagrione, who all won three events and were a part of the first-place 200-meter medley. Brianna Russell was also a part of the 200 medley, and won four events on the evening.

“I’m just really, really pleased with all of their progress,” coach Robyn Strange said.

All six girls for South Fort Myers were part of a winning event. South Fort Myers travels to North Fort Myers to take on Ida Baker in a tri-meet on Thursday at 6 p.m.
